Product Design Analysis

The Key to Meeting Requirements

At Prisco Engineering Associates, LLC, we provide analysis of product designs to insure a high probability that user, manufacturing and cost requirements are met.

Experimental Design

Putting Requirements to the Test

Effective experimental methods and experimental apparatus are needed to insure that products meet both user requirements (validation) and manufacturing specifications and regulatory requirements (verification).  Our experienced consultants can help address these issues in a timely and cost-effective manner, tailored to the needs of your facility.

Proving  the Feasibility of  Your Design

A critical step in the development of a new product or invention is the demonstration of the initial proof of concept - will it work?  Our consultants can assist in building prototypes, associated test fixtures and performing proof of concept testing to help insure that the product or invention performs as intended and warrants continuing the development process..

Root Cause Failure Analysis

To Insure Effective Corrective Action

Determining the root cause of failure of a product or component is a critical part of the product development process. Whether the failure occurs during testing or in the field, our experience can be used to help to find the root cause of failures.

Litigation Support

Expert Witness Services

In cases where failure analysis is not sufficient to meet the needs of all parties concerned, litigation ensues.  Most cases settle out of court.  However, if settlement cannot be reached, expert witness engineering services can be provided.

Computational Analysis

Gain Confidence in Your Design and Design Fixes

Use of computational methods can be used to minimize “cut and try” iterations, better understand design function and limitations and to answer product questions that are difficult or impossible to answer by measurement or direct observation.
